Notice Board

As part of our usual renewal process we are planning to recruit new members to replace colleagues who are retiring.  So we are currently seeking to find two or three people who are interested in joining an enthusiastic and friendly team and would like to contribute to the Association's continuing progress.

The Board needs a diverse range of skills, competencies, experience and knowledge.  We are particularly keen to increase the number of female members of the Board but are interested to hear from anyone who has relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

• leadership and working as an effective team;
• direct knowledge of the needs and aspirations of the communities and people we serve;
• knowledge of the rural areas of the County of Wiltshire and of landowners and other key groups
• general business, financial and management skills;
• knowledge of the external framework including financial markets; political imperatives and operating environment for the Association;
• other relevant or specialist skills, such as commercial, financial, HR, investment, risk management, legal, health, social services, property management and housing development
• effective communication skills and an ability to focus on key issues facing the Association; and
• the ability to foster a culture that enhances commitment, enthusiasm and excellent performance from the staff.

Naturally an induction and training programme is available to anyone joining the Board.
